Dear church,

In light of developments this evening that are still coming to light, we regret to inform that we will have to cancel our church service tomorrow (15 March), as we deem this to be the wisest and most loving thing to do. We continue to pray for our beloved state and nation. As Christians, let us continue to meditate on Psalm 91 in light of the Covid-19 situation –

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord , “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
Psalm 91:1‭-‬6

As the Heidelberg Catechism reminds us: what is our only hope/comfort in life and death? That we belong, body and soul, to our God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Please do let anyone who attends BEM KEC know, and please keep checking our Facebook page and website for the latest updates.

In Christ,
Pastor Brian
